Oban provides a Direct Connect API that connects systems with:

• Superannuation Funds (SuperStream)
• Insurance Companies (ACORD)
• Payments (EFT/NPP/Digital Currency)

The above services use an agreed set of industry specific message standards for B2B or B2G communication.  Furthermore, a point-to-point secure data exchange for non-standard data structures is available.

To make Direct Connect a reality, Oban has:

• Developed the core secure AS4 messaging platform
• Built out the standardised messages for each industry
• Gained the necessary industry accreditations (e.g., member of the GNGB, an ATO approved Sending Service Supplier, ISO 27001 certified)

Software companies that work with Superannuation systems, Payroll systems, Accounting systems, Insurance companies and Superannuation Funds would benefit from Oban’s Direct Connect capability since they only need to focus on their specific industry expertise & functionality without having to worry about sending secure standards-based messages to other systems, other industries or government agencies.
